The film shows an episode from the life of a 5-year old who begins a small journey to the hospital in order to see his mother. The child wants to rescue her as most of the comic book heroes could and he’s taking a bag with a secret cure. Throughout the movie, Aron, the little boy, keeps the content of his bag a secret from his father and anybody who asks.

The EFA (European Film Awards) were granted on December 1st, and Tudor Giurgiu’s film „Superman, Batman or Spiderman” was awarded with The EFA Short Film Award.

It took more than two years after I’ve read the wonderful script and after receiving the production grant from the Romanian Fund. I was too busy with other projects and I’ve waited to be able to focus on the short.
